ALLISON BROWN

MSC., BSC., LLB., LEC

Allison was called to the Jamaican Bar in 2021, having completed her studies at the University of the West Indies, Mona and the Norman Manley Law School respectively. Allison also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree with Honours in Demography. She also has a Certificate with Distinction in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship and a Certificate in Data Protection.

Allison specializes in the areas of Corporate Law, Property Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Family Law, Personal Injury and Civil Litigation.

With over a decade of experience in the Public Sector, Allison’s aptitude for problem-solving and interpersonal skills makes her abundantly equipped to handle civil matters of any nature. The combination of her love for research and the law continues to fuel her drive to provide the best representation available to her clients.

Outside of practicing Law, Allison enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in leisurely research on any subject which she finds interesting.

RUEL NELSON

MBA., FCA., FCCA., LLB., LEC

Ruel is an accomplished, Certified Chartered Accountant and Finance professional with over twenty years in the field. He was called to the Jamaican Bar in 2022 after completing his studies at the University of the West Indies and the Norman Manley Law School.

Additionally, Ruel holds an MBA from the University of the West Indies, Mona School of Business and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (FCA). 

Ruel is a strong operations professional skilled in Business and Strategic Planning, Business Development, and Strategy. These qualities, along with his excellent legal skills, make him a well-rounded attorney in his areas of practice.

Although he has a keen interest in Tax law, his other areas of practice include Conveyancing, Personal Injury, Family Law, Probate and Estate Administration and Employment Law. He is also a tutor at the Norman Manley Law School.

In his spare time, Ruel enjoys a good game of dominoes with his friends and spending time with his family.
